BASKETBALL HOOPS

One of the basketball hoops

has been left in place with hopefully ample

space to allow a one hoop game to take place without this clashing with the toddlers in the play area. There were some concerns about doing this but the site was professionally assessed by a risk expert and given the go ahead. This will be kept under review and may be a temporary position as other locations for a basketball hoop are being assessed for suitability and

affordability. There will be further

consultation with users before

any changes are made.

New Children's Play Area : Now Open!

Hedge Planting

We recently put quite a few new

hedges around the play area.

Hopefully these will soon grow and match the existing mature hedges around the perimeter.

pictures of the new plants.

Friends of Page Park

The new children's play area is now open and is enthusiastically being put through its paces.  The official opening was on Sunday 12th June 2016 at The Big Lunch wi th Dame Janet Trotter, who is the Queen's Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire. She came to Page Park to take part in the ceremony, along with the vice-chair of South Gloucestershire Council.   Come and play!

Many children still enjoy our old play area, which has DDA compliant swings and our teen play area.

Bark update (7 Nov 2017) :   The bark in the toddler play area was topped up this week.
