Friends of Page Park

> Defibrillator

The park run requires there to be a defibrillator in or very close to the park. We have raised money that, together with a contribution from the Restoration Project, will allow a defib to be purchased for the park. It is expected that this will be located in the new building so that it can be accessed when the cafe is open.

A big thank you to Gary Woodruff for these fantastic photos of the Runners - don't they look great!

We will have a runner in the 2018 London Marathon
who will raise sponsorship for the group!

My name is Lorna and I've lived in the vicinity of Page Park for over 40 years,
my children went to the playgroup in the park and my grandchildren live close by and enjoy spending time playing there and taking part in park events.

In April 2018 I will be running the LONDON MARATHON to raise funds to support
the Friends of Page Park.  You can help me by donating through the Virgin Money Giving at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/LornaMassey.
Thank you such much for your support,
  Lorna

> LONDON MARATHON Fund Raising

20 Aug 2017:  First junior parkrun
It was a very special Sunday morning for us today as the first Page Park junior parkrun event was held. There were 118 children who completed the 2km course in lovely bright conditions. For the majority of the participants this was their very first parkrun and judging from the smiles as they went round it will not be their last.

The junior parkrun will now be held every Sunday at 9am. If you would like to find out more then visit the Page Park junior parkrun website at www.parkrun.org.uk/pagepark-juniors
