South Gloucestershire Council (SGC) are no longer affiliated with 'Walking for Health' so this information has been removed from our website. SGC now have their own scheme (independent of Walking for Health) which is called 'Walking Well.'
The Friends of Page Park have been in discussion with SGC to reestablish the regular walks which we know are very were very much missed by our local residents during the lockdown period.
Every Tuesday 11:30am @ the Clock Tower
Every 4th Wednesday 2pm @ the Clock Tower
We now have a couple of Walking Well walks series that are based in the park.
1. There's a shorter gentle walk around the park followed by refreshments and a chat in the Nest community room. This is every Tuesday at 11:30am meeting at the Clock Tower. The walk lasts up to 30 mins and are accessible for people with walking aids.
2. The other one is a longer walk (about 3 miles) which starts from the park but then goes elsewhere (usually along the cycle path). This one is monthly on the fourth Wednesday and it starts at 2pm again meeting by the Clock Tower.
