South Gloucestershire Council (SGC) are no longer affiliated with 'Walking for Health' so this information has been removed from our website. SGC now have their own scheme (independent of Walking for Health) which is called 'Walking Well.'
Page Park users may be particularly interested in the following links which include the Park and other places around Staple Hill.
The Friends of Page Park are currently in discussion with SGC to reestablish the twice weekly walks which we know are very much missed by our local residents.
General information about Walking Well can be accessed on this link. All walks are free and led by a group of trained leaders who can help you take the first steps to a more active lifestyle, as well as being a great way to meet new people.
The walks are between 30 and 90 minutes, designed to suit different walking abilities. These walks are designed to accommodate any walker’s needs, allowing people to walk the distance they feel comfortable with.
People of all ages and walking abilities are supported, including those who use wheelchairs or have other access requirements. To find out more or ask any questions, SGC can be contacted : Telephone: 01454 863440 or Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
