Friends of Page Park

Page Park was pround to play a role in the Armed Forces Day.

The parade marched off at 11.30am along the Staple Hill High Street from the Royal British Legion and then into Broad Street before culminating in a drumhead ceremony in Page Park.   The parade included veterans, cadet groups, bands and military vehicles.   In the park there were a wide variety of stalls, stands and activities.  Spectators saw a number of military vehicles and weapons from the past and present.  On the bandstand there were performances from singers and bands.

A fantastic turn out from all involved.  Enjoy our photos from the day shown below; with thanks to photographer Rich McD for letting us share his photos.
